Production Leadership Role

We are seeking an experienced production leader to oversee our end-to-end factory operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing teams and ensuring safe, high-quality output at optimal cost.

  • Develop and implement daily/weekly/monthly production plans and schedules across shifts.
  • Drive efficiency, yield, and overall equipment effectiveness; reduce waste and downtime through lean methodologies.
  • Enforce standard operating procedures, recipes, and specifications; promptly resolve any issues on the shop floor.
  • Collaborate with procurement to plan raw materials/packaging requirements; maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Oversee manpower allocation, rosters, and overtime; work closely with HR on hiring and staffing initiatives.
  • Lead trials and scale-up for new products from pilot to full production.
  • Maintain strict adherence to FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, hygiene, and safety regulations at all times.
  • Analyze and report key performance indicators (volume, OEE, yield, waste, productivity); identify trends and implement improvements.

To succeed in this role, you will require a strong background in bakery/pastry chef, food technology, or engineering, coupled with 10+ years of experience in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery. Proficiency in bakery processes, equipment, and ingredients is essential.

  • Bakery/Pastry Chef, Food Technology, or Engineering Background.
  • At least 10 years' experience in production/plant leadership within bread/bakery/confectionery.
  • Proven multi-shift management and supervisor leadership expertise.
  • Strong command of production planning, inventory control, and lean tools.

This ideal candidate possesses excellent leadership skills, able to coach, set standards, and hold teams accountable. A problem-solver with a hands-on approach on the shop floor, process-driven and data-led, they continuously improve systems and SOPs. Effective communication with management, supervisors, and operators is crucial.
