Lead Engineering Team

As a forward-thinking leader, you will spearhead diverse engineering teams from various disciplines, formulate and execute strategic plans, and collaborate with other managers.

  1. Own delivery of product commitments for the team. Participate in product roadmap discussions and contribute to design, modeling, and architectural decisions. Drive project estimations and operations for implementing high-quality solution delivery and technology upgrades in the product.

  2. Guide teams in developing new products, solutions, and processes. Enhance efficiency and productivity to produce high-quality output. Create designs that improve system component flexibility, functionality, and usability.

  3. Define non-functional requirements (NFRs) and build a system that meets NFR requirements. Perform design and code reviews. Oversee project logistics and resource allocation.

  4. Utilize tools and techniques to enhance code quality and design focus on constant reduction of code debt. Suggest the best design and implementation methodology.

  5. Collaborate with other team leaders and departments. Develop required competence in the team.

  6. Mentor team members and prepare them for possible future roles.

Experience & Portfolio:

Bachelor's/master's degree in engineering Minimum 7 to 15 years of total experience working on delivery/development/team management etc. Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience working with EVM, Android-related technology. Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience working with frontend technologies like EMV knowledge, Android POS development experience. Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience working in mobile technologies like Android. Good understanding in commonly used databases like SQL, NoSQL.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Personnel and project management skills Expert-level knowledge of sector technology and processes Organizational, planning, and documentation skills Proficiency to explain complex information to non-technical management personnel and other stakeholders Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously Past use of Agile/Scrum or similar collaborative tools a plus Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product Proficient in stakeholder management and conflict resolutions Experience in fintech space is an advantage.
