Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Institutional Investment Operations Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working in the financial industry, particularly in capital markets operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Consolidation: You will be responsible for downloading and consolidating data from various sources, including capital markets clearing organizations, for reporting purposes in tools such as Excel, Clik View, and Tableau.
  • Performance Monitoring: You will monitor the performance of non-financial regulatory reporting through data analysis and reconcilements.
  • Error Resolution: You will work with Middle Office teams to identify and correct errors and late reporting.
  • Process Improvement: You will identify opportunities to improve productivity in the data management and reporting processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: A university degree including coursework in financial markets, law, and technology.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in capital markets operations or compliance surveillance or control with derivatives, foreign exchange, and securities.
  • Technical Skills: Experience in data management, import/export, analysis, and manipulation using Excel, Tableau, ClikView, or similar tools for analysis and graphs.
  • Desired Qualifications: Education or experience with US securities and commodities regulations and compliance, training or experience in business intelligence tools, workflow tools, data schema, and/or data vocabularies.
