Requirements

We are looking for an accomplished Capital Markets professional with strong expertise in fundraising, debt raising, and investor relations to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of structuring and executing capital market transactions, managing investor relationships, and driving capital strategies that support organizational growth.

This role demands a strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities and the ability to navigate complex financial markets. You will be responsible for building investor confidence, securing capital through debt and equity channels, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Fundraising & Capital Strategy

- Lead the design and execution of the company's fundraising strategy across equity and debt instruments.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with potential investors, banks, and financial institutions to secure growth capital.
- Explore innovative fundraising opportunities including structured financing, private placements, and bond issuances.
- Ensure alignment of capital raising initiatives with business objectives and long-term strategy.

- Debt Raising

- Manage debt raising activities including bank loans, syndicated loans, project financing, and capital market borrowings.
- Negotiate favorable terms and structures with lenders while maintaining optimal capital cost.
- Monitor debt covenants and ensure ongoing compliance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with credit rating agencies, financial advisors, and debt investors.

- Investor Relations

- Serve as the primary point of contact for existing and potential investors, ensuring clear, transparent, and proactive communication.
- Develop investor presentations, financial updates, and disclosures to build investor confidence.
- Organize investor meetings, roadshows, and quarterly briefings to maintain engagement.
- Gather investor feedback and incorporate insights into capital strategy and financial planning.

- Capital Markets Advisory

- Monitor capital markets trends, interest rate movements, and investor appetite to guide financing decisions.
- Advise senior management and the board on capital structure optimization and market opportunities.
- Coordinate with legal, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure adherence to local and international requirements.
- Evaluate and execute mergers, acquisitions, or joint ventures where capital market activities are involved.

- Leadership & Collaboration

- Partner with the CFO, treasury, and corporate finance teams to drive capital allocation strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior finance team members in fundraising and investor management best practices.
- Actively engage with external stakeholders including banks, private equity funds, venture capital firms, and strategic partners.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- 8+ years of proven experience in capital markets, fundraising, debt raising, or investor relations.
- Strong understanding of debt instruments, equity markets, structured finance, and capital structures.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close high-value fundraising transactions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret market data, investor trends, and financial performance.
- Hands-on experience in financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring.

Preferred Skills

- Professional certifications such as CFA, CA, or MBA in Finance.
- Experience working in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance teams.
- Exposure to cross-border fundraising, global debt capital markets, and multi-currency financing.
