  • Leveraging an existing network and building strategic relationships with stakeholders in the global petrochemical and oil exploration sector is crucial.
  • Collaboration with internal cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and technical teams, is necessary to execute deals smoothly.
  • The Business Development Lead will monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to identify new growth avenues.
  • Representing the company at international forums, trade shows, and industry conferences is also expected.
  • The role requires working closely with the leadership team to align expansion strategies with overall business objectives.

Required Skills:

  • At least 15 years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategy in the petrochemicals/oil & gas sector.
  • A proven track record of deal-making, particularly with international assets or companies.
  • A deep understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, especially rig operations.
  • A strong global network in the petrochemical space, especially in coastal countries with active oil rigs.
  • Excellent negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • An MBA or relevant technical qualification is preferred.
