An ideal candidate will have a solid background in animation and rigging, with expertise in Blender and Autodesk Maya software.

They should be able to provide training on these tools, as well as offer guidance on how to create effective animations and rigs.

A strong mentorship approach is essential, with the ability to review individual results and provide constructive feedback.

We are looking for someone who can adapt their teaching style to suit different project requirements and preferences.

The selected candidate will also need to be proficient in problem-solving and able to address any issues that arise during animation production.

Additionally, they should have a good understanding of animation principles and be able to apply them flexibly, particularly in realistic or semi-realistic character animation.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as the animator/ rigger mentor will be working closely with colleagues and providing regular updates on progress.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert training on animation and rigging techniques
  • Mentoring junior animators and riggers
  • Reviewing and providing feedback on individual work
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve project goals
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
