High-performance Database Engineer required for core infrastructure design, development, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable database systems that handle vast volumes of financial market data.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing database schemas for storing and retrieving time-series financial data, including high-frequency tick data, OHLC data, and other market-specific datasets.
  • Developing and optimizing ETL processes for ingesting data from various market sources in real-time.
  • Ensuring data integrity, consistency, and accuracy across all databases.

Additionally, this role involves:

  • Writing robust and efficient APIs to provide programmatic access to both historical and real-time market data for internal and external users.
  • Implementing data retrieval services that can handle high throughput and low-latency queries.
  • Collaborating with application developers to integrate database services with trading, analytics, and visualization tools.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Database Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
