About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Support Specialist to join our team. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and infrastructure. This position involves providing technical support to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and setting up new equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot Hardware and Software Issues: Identify and resolve basic hardware and software problems to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Network Configuration and Monitoring: Assist in configuring and monitoring our network to ensure seamless communication and data exchange.
  • Application and Operating System Installation: Install and update applications and operating systems to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
  • End-User Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to staff members, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of assets, issues, and resolutions to facilitate future troubleshooting and improvement initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or Three-Year Engineering Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues independently.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, to assist users effectively.
  • Precision in following processes, troubleshooting, and reporting.
  • Adaptability to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Ability to work well within a team and support various IT initiatives.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is around $40,000 - $50,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. SBL Knowledge Services offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
