\Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year
\As an IT Support Trainee, you will be responsible for assisting in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems, providing technical support to staff, and managing IT infrastructure. Your tasks will include diagnosing hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of IT services.
\Responsibilities:
\- Respond to and resolve basic hardware and software issues using problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Assist in network configuration and monitoring to ensure optimal system performance.
- Install and update applications and operating systems efficiently.
- Support end-users with technical issues via clear communication and effective troubleshooting methods.
- Document processes and maintain accurate records of assets, issues, and resolutions.
Required Competencies:
\- Technical Knowledge: Develop a solid understanding of IT systems, hardware, and software through hands-on experience and training.
- Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking and analytical skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Communication Skills: Effectively communicate technical information to users and colleagues.
- Attention to Detail: Maintain precision in following procedures, documenting issues, and reporting resolutions.
- Adaptability: Stay up-to-date with evolving technologies and adapt to changing IT requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the IT team to support various initiatives and projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
\- Advanced IT Knowledge: Acquire in-depth understanding of networks, servers, databases, and security protocols.
- Certifications: Obtain industry-recognized certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent interpersonal skills for handling user requests and feedback.
- IT Troubleshooting Tools: Familiarize yourself with remote support tools and diagnostic software.
Educational Qualification:
\Bachelor's degree or Three-Year Engineering Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related fields. Industry-recognized certifications such as MCP, MCSA, MCSE, CCNA etc.
