Job Description

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our team of Data Engineers, SREs, and Operations staff supporting Accounting and Finance Technology platforms.

This role will be responsible for managing a team of engineers and operations staff, providing coaching, feedback, and career development support. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operational practices including incident, problem, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Manage a team of engineers and operations staff, ensuring high-quality work output and adherence to best practices.
  • Delivery Oversight: Ensure project deliverables and operational commitments are met on time with high quality.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the smooth running of Accounting and Finance platforms, ensuring adherence to SLAs for availability, reliability, and data accuracy.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Ensure effective resolution of incidents, coordinate root cause analysis and track corrective actions.
  • Process Adherence: Ensure the team follows established engineering, SRE, and operational best practices (code reviews, change management, monitoring, compliance).
  • Resource Allocation: Assign work across the team, balancing project and operational demands.
  • Reporting: Track and report on team progress, system performance, and operational metrics to senior leadership.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process automation, tooling improvements, and efficiency gains.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A strong understanding of operational practices including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Solid communication and organizational skills with the ability to partner with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
