Job Summary:
As a Front Desk Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading and assisting with the successful completion of daily shift requirements. You will strive to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while achieving operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management of front desk team members by utilizing interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
- Advocate sound financial business decisions and demonstrate honesty and integrity as a role model.
- Encourage mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
- Serve as a role model to demonstrate appropriate behaviors.
- Support all day-to-day operations and understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence.
- Coach, counsel, and encourage employees to handle employee questions and concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or related professional area, or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Proficient in using technology to manage operations and track performance.
