About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Director to lead our team in delivering cutting-edge solutions for our customers.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building functionally rich, high-performance, scalable, and multi-tenant platforms using Java technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Create detailed technical task lists, provide technical guidance to the team, and enforce engineering standards and best practices
  2. Devise innovative approaches for delivering tailored solutions leveraging advanced domain knowledge, technology competency, and industry exposure
  3. Establish and develop strong professional relationships with product management, analytics, and technology groups and act as the engineering anchor
  4. Collaborate with technical developers; review deliverables for accuracy, quality, application performance, and completeness
  5. Provides in-depth and sophisticated analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must demonstrate a history of successfully building functionally rich, high-performance, scalable, and multi-tenant platforms. You should also have a solid experience in building secure platforms and a substantial track record of success in bringing innovative software products to market.

A very strong background in Java technologies, including Java/J2ee, JavaScript, XML, DOM/SAX Parsers, Swings, HTML, CSS, HTTP/s, C++, JBoss, JSP, EJB 2.0, Struts 2.0, Servlets, Kodo (ORM), JMS, RMI, Quartz, ANT, Drools, various file systems, XML, DB (SQL, Oracle, DB2), DMS, Web Services, LDAP integration, is essential.

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has built or integrated tools like Document Management System, Workflow management, Offline Capability, Integration frameworks, and has a strong knowledge of SQL, Relational databases, and Data Modeling.

A good understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, scalability, and fault-tolerant designs is also desirable. Additionally, strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills for technical audiences are required.
