AI Engineer Position

We're seeking a seasoned AI/ML expert to design, develop, and implement AI-powered features that enhance user experience, automate decisions, and personalize the platform at scale.

  1. Automatically evaluate and rank freelancer proposals based on relevance to the project, past performance, and profile match.
  2. Suggest freelancers or projects based on user activity, preferences, and historical data.
  3. Improve logic for future integration of summarisation, AI-generated replies, and chat moderation.
  4. Help tailor dashboards, feed content, and marketing messages using machine learning.
  5. Implement similarity search using FAISS or Pinecone with OpenAI or HuggingFace models.
  6. Architect AI features as independent microservices with APIs consumable by our backend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement AI/ML systems for real-world use.
  • Work with product and engineering to scope and prioritize AI features.
  • Write clean, scalable code for AI microservices.
  • Build API endpoints that integrate AI features with our backend.
  • Run experiments, optimize performance, and monitor metrics for quality.
  • Stay current on the latest in GenAI, NLP, embeddings, and scoring algorithms.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in AI/ML or data science roles.
  • Proficient in Python and key ML libraries.
  • Hands-on experience with vector similarity, embedding models, and ranking algorithms.
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs.
  • Experience deploying AI models or services in production.
  • Excellent communication and ability to lead AI product strategy.
