Job Overview:

The Senior Manager will oversee and manage direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. The role requires strong leadership skills to direct a team of professionals in achieving company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Compliance and Verification:
    • Verify the Security Transaction Tax note initiated from membership department against the STT calculated from clearing data and send for authorization to senior management.
      • Tax Return Filing and Certification:
    • Validate the TDS/ST returns. Ensure that the total of values in form 16A matches the total tax liability.
    • Tax Audits and Compliance:
      • Audit Preparation and Validation: Prepare the income computation report based on the audit reports and send to external auditors for validation.
        • Critical Query Resolution:
      • Resolve specific/critical queries from the auditors if any.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, minimum 5 years of experience in tax management.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong leadership skills, ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders, expertise in tax laws and regulations.
