Job Title: Application Specialist

Our team is seeking an experienced Application Specialist to support business functions in describing and documenting business requirements for the application in scope. This is a unique opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, drive testing and quality assurance, and contribute to the development and maintenance of business applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Convert business requirements into a detailed project plan, respecting global IT strategy, policies, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with other specialists to ensure consistency and long-term governance of data.
  • Stay updated on vendor updates, patches, and fixes, and evaluate their impact on our operations.
  • Contribute expertise and knowledge to project plans and collaborate with stakeholders to drive business efficiency.
  • Introduce new functionality and propose changes to improve processes and workflows.
  • Monitor the quality, performance, and cost efficiency of applications and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Document and maintain records of business requirements and application documentation.
  • Provide second- and third-line support as needed and participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
  • Drive testing and quality assurance in accordance with test strategies and plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.
  • At least 3 years' experience working with business applications and a deep understanding of business processes.
  • Excellent language skills in English and ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience working in multicultural organizations and agile environments.
  • Knowledge of ITIL and IT service management principles and practices.
