Job Overview

Infrastructure Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the deployment, management, and optimization of our hardware and cloud-like orchestration systems. This individual must be able to efficiently run diagnostics on GPU hardware and ensure seamless operation.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in infrastructure engineering, with expertise in server infrastructure management, networking, and datacenter operations. Strong knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Slurm, or similar) is also required.

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Deploying, configuring, and maintaining Blackwell B200 and other GPU servers.
  • Managing hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Optimizing utilization across GPU, CPU, memory, storage, and networking.

Additionally, the Infrastructure Engineer will work closely with Tier-4 datacenter staff to ensure uptime, redundancy, and security compliance. The role requires excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with product and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Server Infrastructure Management
  • Deploy, configure, and maintain Blackwell B200 and other GPU servers.
  • Manage hardware upgrades, firmware updates, and troubleshooting.
  • Optimize utilization across GPU, CPU, memory, storage, and networking.
Networking & Datacenter Operations
  • Configure and maintain 400G InfiniBand/Ethernet networks (NVIDIA ConnectX-7) for multi-node GPU clusters.
  • Work closely with Tier-4 datacenter staff to ensure uptime, redundancy, and security compliance.
  • Monitor rack power, cooling, and performance KPIs.
Systems & Orchestration
  • Implement and manage container orchestration (Kubernetes, Slurm, or similar).
  • Build automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, and scaling workloads.
  • Collaborate on NovaCore's orchestration platform (internal dashboards, client provisioning tools).
Security & Compliance
  • Maintain hardware security modules (TPM 2.0, SDDC monitoring).
  • Enforce access controls, auditing, and compliance with enterprise security standards.
Support & Reliability
  • Troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers.
  • Benchmark and fine-tune performance for AI training and inference workloads.
Collaboration
  • Work with product and engineering teams to align infra capabilities with client needs.
  • Support client onboarding by configuring custom environments and workload testing.
