Freelance Software Testing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced software testing specialist to join our team as a Freelance QA Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in the Karate Framework for UI and API test automation, enabling them to design, develop, and execute automated test cases for reliable, high-performing applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts using the Karate Framework, designing reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks, collaborating with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to create effective test coverage, executing and analyzing test results, identifying and reporting defects, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and providing detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.

  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Java, JavaScript, or related programming languages.
  • Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
