Software Quality Assurance Specialist

This role is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products by designing and executing test plans, creating test cases, and analyzing user stories and requirements.

  • Test scope identification and planning collaboration with the test team and manager
  • Effort estimation and resource allocation
  • Test case design, review, and feedback incorporation
  • Execution of system, integration, and regression testing
  • Triage and root cause analysis for customer-reported defects

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience as a software tester in an IT organization
  • Previous work experience as a software tester in an established IT organization for at least 2 years
  • Demonstrated knowledge of banking domain and willingness to learn Digital Banking
  • Working/application level understanding of STLC phases and nuances
  • Able to adhere to quality processes
  • Experience with waterfall model and Agile (Scrum) methodologies
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and utilize automation tools (Selenium/Cucumber)
