
Territory Expansion Lead

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Territory Expansion Lead to drive sales strategy, expand our business, and generate revenue in assigned territories. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and building strong relationships with existing merchants for recurring business while adding new merchants for overall company growth.
About the Role:
This role requires identifying suitable channels for distribution, building and maintaining good working relationships with current and potential merchants, onboarding new merchants, expanding our presence, attracting and retaining the right kind of merchants, training key merchants on payment solutions, managing escalations as needed, monitoring competition within assigned territories, and sharing inputs with leadership teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A graduate or MBA with a good academic record.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in relevant spaces.
- Hands-on experience with merchant acquiring, engagement, and payment solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sales/customer service focus.
- Go-Getter approach, focused, and result-oriented.
- Good understanding of merchant-facing roles and payment solution ecosystems.
- Field sales experience with a proven track record of increasing sales and revenue.
- Exposure to startup environments is an added advantage.
- Problem-solving abilities with a strong bias for impact.
- Strong ethics and discretion while dealing with customers.
- Drive for results, able to demonstrate/quantify success relative established targets and metrics.
