Job Summary:

Technical Support Specialist

This role involves providing configuration support, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and delivering remote assistance to clients on system setup. The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking system problems through resolution within specified timeframes and escalating unresolved issues to relevant teams.

About the Role:

The primary objective of this position is to ensure seamless operation of Access Control and CCTV systems' software and backend hardware in Morgan Stanley offices worldwide.

  • Provide technical support for Access Control and CCTV systems
  • Analyze and resolve software and hardware issues related to Access Control and CCTV systems and other CSI applications
  • Offer remote support to internal clients on system setup and configuration
  • Identify and troubleshoot system failures and collaborate with on-site technicians for break-fix
Requirements and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills. Familiarity with CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software, enterprise CCTV systems, and Windows Server Operating systems is highly desirable. Additionally, experience in PowerShell programming, SQL, and reverse engineering is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Access Control and CCTV systems with installation and maintenance experience an asset
  • Knowledge of CCURE 9000 and CCURE GO software and related hardware (e.g., iStar controller) and their integration
  • Familiarity with enterprise CCTV systems like Intellicene (Cognyte/Verint), Symphia VMS, Genetec video solutions
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating systems (e.g., Windows Server 2016, 2019)
  • Background in SQL an asset
  • PowerShell programming expertise
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Technical trouble shooting and reverse engineering abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter and ability to multitask
Working Conditions:

This position requires working in shifts, including night shifts, with regular working hours of 9 hours per day and 5 days per week.
