Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute asset management policies, procedures, and processes for effective hardware asset management. This involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and ensuring that all assets are accurately tracked throughout their lifecycle.
  • Ensure timely updates of all hardware asset documentation, including configuration items and audit trails. This is crucial for maintaining accurate records and facilitating compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the organization during internal and external audits for hardware asset management, ensuring zero non-conformance. This requires strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear explanations of asset management processes.
  • Manage NIST-related audits pertaining to hardware asset management and work toward improving the NIST score. This involves identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to maintain or enhance the organization's reputation.
  • Support RFP processes for client audit controls, which involves collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement effective control measures.
  • Perform hardware asset KPI reviews, including asset accuracy validation. This ensures that asset data is accurate and reliable, enabling informed business decisions.
  • Ensure all hardware assets comply with internal policies and external regulations. This requires ongoing monitoring and verification of asset configurations to prevent unauthorized changes.
  • Utilize ServiceNow's hardware asset module to automate and streamline asset management processes. This enables efficient tracking and reporting of asset data, reducing administrative burdens and minimizing errors.
  • Maintain a comprehensive CMDB to track and manage hardware assets across their lifecycle. This involves regular updates to ensure that asset information remains accurate and current.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, with end-to-end IT asset management knowledge.
  • Proven experience in hardware asset management and audit readiness, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to deliver meaningful outcomes.
