Student Support Specialist

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have experience in student support, operations or customer-facing roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for newly enrolled students, helping them navigate campus resources and policies.
  • Maintain and update student records, including enrolment status and personal information.
  • Handle semester-wise student fee collection and issue receipts according to institutional guidelines.
  • Provide assistance to students via email, phone and chat within defined SLAs.
  • Communicate important information such as payment deadlines, policy updates and key events through various channels.
  • Educate students on financial aid options, scholarships grants and associated application processes and deadlines.
  • Help students with non-technical issues during course registration and resolve enrolment-related errors.
  • Share updates about alumni events guest lectures webinars and networking opportunities to foster engagement and learning.
  • Generate customized reports and compile data for internal use or regulatory compliance.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • 1–3 years of experience in student support operations or a customer-facing role.
  • Familiarity with online education platforms CRM systems data analytics tools and helpdesk software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a student-first mindset.
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable working with data.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced evolving environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Analytical thinker with a problem-solving attitude and data-driven decision-making approach.
  • Understanding of the student lifecycle and ability to support learners at each stage of their academic journey.

  • Tech-savvy and updated on tools and trends in educational operations.
