Quality Assurance Leadership Role

The Quality Engineer Manager is a pivotal leadership position responsible for spearheading the overall QA strategy with 9–12 years of experience in Functional and Automation Testing. This role ensures high-quality delivery in Agile projects.

The successful candidate will define and implement test strategies, plans, and cases for both manual and automated testing. They will drive automation initiatives using Selenium with Java and enhance test frameworks.

Key responsibilities include managing and executing API testing for integration and end-to-end validations, performing SQL-based data validation and back-end testing for accuracy, and leveraging Python scripting for test data management, masking, and automation utilities.

The ideal candidate will ensure the adoption of testing frameworks and maintain best practices, integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) for continuous quality checks, and mentoring QA engineers, tracking/reporting quality metrics, and communicating risks to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Competencies
  • Proficiency in Selenium with Java for test automation.
  • Nice to have ISTQB Advance & PMP certification.
  • Strong expertise in API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar).
  • Advanced SQL skills for data validation and back-end testing.
  • Hands-on Python scripting for automation and test data handling.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, etc.) and Agile methodology.
