Senior Developer - Automation Testing Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our automation testing efforts. As a key member of our team, you will design, develop, and execute automated tests to ensure software quality.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop automated tests using Selenium, Java, and other relevant tools
  2. Convert manual test cases into automated scripts and maintain existing automation frameworks
  3. Analyze test results, report defects, and collaborate with development teams
  4. Create testing artifacts and configure test environments

Requirements:

  • 3-10 years of IT experience in application design, development, testing, and maintenance projects
  • Hands-on experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, Playwright, Postman, and SoapUI
  • Proficient in Java/Spring Boot and SQL/any DB
  • Understanding of test script versioning, CI/CD integration, and defect management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Agile methodology, DevOps, Security vulnerability management, and P&C Insurance domain knowledge
  • Familiarity with scan, build, and deployment tools like Proofpoint, Git, Maven, Jenkins, Jira, and ServiceNow

Additional Requirements:

  • Fluency in reading, writing, and conversing in Japanese and English languages
  • Ability to work in Japan Standard Time (JST) morning hours as required
