Lead QA Engineer Job

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to lead our QA team and ensure the highest quality of our products. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of QA strategies to ensure high-quality products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and product management, to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test environments to support rigorous testing.
  • Identify and document defects, collaborate with development teams to resolve issues, and conduct root cause analysis.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Work closely with the SRE team to ensure seamless deployment and operation of our products.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automated testing of SAAS products, with a strong background in leading teams.
  • Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks, such as Selenium or Appium, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture, Kubernetes, Docker containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Linux proficiency and experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Certification in AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus, as is hands-on experience with Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, and Oracle DB.
