Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough business requirement discussions with stakeholders to gain a deep understanding of their needs and expectations.
  • Translate product requirements into effective test scenarios and cases that meet our company's quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Mentor junior team members in automation design best practices and implementation.
  • Perform functional, regression, and performance testing to ensure seamless software delivery.
  • Develop and maintain test reports that provide actionable insights for improvement.
Candidate Profile:
  • 8+ years of SDET experience with exposure to settlement or capital markets.
  • Strong understanding of trade life cycle and related financial processes testing.
  • Proven ability to lead requirement discussions and derive test cases independently.
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as JUnit, SoapUI, Postman, Selenium, TestNG, JavaScript, Jest, Rest Assured, Cucumber, TDD, BDD & Agile Methodologies.
  • Experience in testing REST APIs and messaging solutions such as Solace, MQ, Kafka, relational/NoSQL database concepts.
  • Experience in framework ownership, test strategy, and mentoring juniors.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
