Overview

HUBER+SUHNER is a leading provider of cable and connectivity solutions for the RAILCOMM market. We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Professional to join our team.

Job Description

  • Identify and track opportunities in the RAILCOMM market to drive sales growth.
  • Establish strong relationships with customer's technical/engineering/design teams to understand their requirements and propose viable solutions.
  • Understand customer needs and develop commercially viable solutions that meet their expectations.
  • Advise customers on improvements based on our knowledge of cable and connectivity solutions.
  • Coordinate with global Application Engineering or Product Management teams when required.
  • Support in preparation of offers, answering of technical questions/requests, and handling of customer specific orders.
  • Promote HUBER+SUHNER as the most preferred supplier for RAILCOMM products.
  • Support in meeting assigned sales targets.
  • Maintain highest standards of pre- and post-sales technical support.

Requirements

  • Good market knowledge and awareness about latest trends in Railway Communication (Trackside and Onboard).
  • Profound knowledge of engineering methods.
  • Solution-oriented, organized, independent/self-sufficient, and structured way of working.
  • Ability to build effective working relations with existing and potential customers.
  • Experience with working in international, intercultural, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good presentation skills.
