Senior HR Manager Role

The role of Senior Human Resources Manager is pivotal in overseeing the human resources function within an organization. Key responsibilities include performance management, compensation and benefits administration, learning and development, organizational design, structure, culture, employee engagement and relations.

  • Performance Management: Manage performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, periodic assessments, calibration with leadership teams, and recognition programs to enhance employee retention.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: Assist in administering compensation and benefits programs, provide guidance on salary revisions, manage bonus payouts and annual salary adjustments, and address inquiries related to compensation and benefits.
  • Learning and Development: Work with stakeholders to identify gaps in technical competencies and soft skills, implement training methods, coordinate with subject matter experts and external trainers, establish metrics to measure training effectiveness, conduct regular evaluations, and promote awareness of training opportunities.
  • Organizational Culture and Employee Engagement: Foster a positive culture that promotes inclusivity, productivity, and employee satisfaction, develop strategies to measure and improve employee engagement, ensure effective communication channels, and facilitate team-building activities.
  • Organizational Design and Structure: Assess and design organizational structures to support business goals, clearly define roles and responsibilities, and ensure clarity and accountability within the organization.
  • Employee Relations: Develop and enforce HR policies and procedures, ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field with a postgraduate degree in HR from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the IT/ITES industry.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially in MS Office - PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Exposure to HRMS tools.
  • Understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other training tools is an advantage.
