Project Manager - Civil Works

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Project Manager to oversee the execution of civil and interior works.

  • This involves overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring that they are completed to the highest standards and within the specified timeframe.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a team of engineers and supervisors, with excellent leadership skills and experience in stone cladding of façade both wet and dry cladding.
  • Responsibilities include inspecting interior fit-outs, finishes, FF&E, loose furniture, and comparing them with drawings and specifications.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for measuring and checking building materials for quality, identifying any defects, and suggesting ways to correct them.
  • In addition, the Project Manager will monitor and report work progress to senior management, assist the site team, and coordinate with PMO for verification, validation, and certification of bills.
  • Quality assurance and control are critical aspects of this role, requiring the candidate to prepare snag lists and follow up with contractors to ensure de-snagging and handover to the Operations Team.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and coordination skills, ensuring seamless collaboration with vendors, sub-contractors, and suppliers for quality works at the site.
  • The successful candidate must ensure that all works are carried out as per approved design drawings, documents, contract technical specifications, and quality plans.
  • Correct method statements and checklists will be followed, and deviations/variances noticed at site will result in non-compliance reports.
  • Manpower requirements will be reviewed, and work fronts allocated accordingly.
  • Safe practices will be implemented, making the site an accident-free zone.
  • Coordination with Civil and M & E departments will ensure smooth flow of works.
  • Autocad and MS Project knowledge is mandatory, along with experience in project cost estimation, approvals, site expenses, and coordinating with PMO.

Bonus Skills:

  • Project management tools such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Autocad.
  • Knowledge of construction methods and materials.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data from various sources.
