ERP Performance Testing Lead

This is a high-profile role that calls for the technical expertise of an accomplished Performance Engineer. The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams to define and execute performance testing strategies, pinpointing bottlenecks and optimizing system performance.

Job Description:

The ERP Performance Testing Lead is responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining comprehensive performance test plans that ensure seamless integration with development methodologies (Agile, Iterative, and Waterfall). A key component of this role is collaborating closely with development teams to identify and address potential performance concerns before they reach production.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain detailed performance test plans that cater to various development methodologies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement performance testing strategies.
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand application changes and their potential impact on performance.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations for improving system performance.
  • Develop and enforce high-quality performance engineering principles and best practices within the organization.
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in performance engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or Neoload.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to interpret test results and identify performance issues.
  • Architectural background focused on mid-tier services, client frontends, and databases.
  • Proficiency in understanding testing activities and approaches in different development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working with ERP applications and their performance testing.
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
