Procurement Specialist

This is a challenging role that requires strong relationship management, strategic sourcing planning, and project coordination skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT contract negotiation, supplier management, and collaborative stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Foster effective collaboration and communication with key client stakeholders and colleagues to deliver defined business goals.
  • Develop key client stakeholder matrix per category/location, maintaining regular engagement and driving high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Ensure appropriate supplier relationship management for assigned suppliers.
  • Act as key contact person for IT category with expertise on one of sub-categories (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo) and sourcing initiatives.
Strategic Sourcing Planning
  • Analyze spend and contract data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvements.
  • Ability to formulate category-specific cost models and license agreements aligned with business needs.
  • Work with clients and colleagues to define and implement IT strategies and sourcing plans for global and regional markets.
Sourcing Initiative Management
  • Lead and execute IT (HW, SW, SaaS, Network, Telecom, Co-lo) sourcing projects from end-to-end in line with agreed timelines and quality standards.
  • Deliver allocated savings targets through effective sourcing initiative management, tracking, and reporting.
  • Adhere to defined sourcing policies and processes.
  • Maintain high ethical standards in supplier and client engagements.
Sourcing Support
  • Provide sourcing expertise, solutions, and support to client engagements and pitches.
  • Support sourcing planning and execution across a dynamic, multi-client environment.
Requirements
  • University degree (ideally in economics or supply chain management) or equivalent industry experience.
  • Additional sourcing/procurement certification is advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal English language skills and proficiency in Simplified Chinese is preferred.

A minimum of 12-15 years' experience in strategic sourcing, ideally gained in an international environment. Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills to positively influence stakeholders and drive results effectively.
