We are seeking a skilled auditor to join our organization. The primary focus of this role will be on ensuring compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and best practices. The role involves monitoring financial transactions, identifying potential risks, and recommending control measures. A key responsibility is conducting real-time audits to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct concurrent audit of operational activities to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory guidelines
  • Identify and report deviations, irregularities or non-compliance with established procedures or regulatory requirements
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to mitigate risks and enhance operational efficiency
  • Review loan portfolios including loan applications agreements collateral valuation and documentation to ensure compliance with legal policies and regulatory guidelines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in law accounting finance or a related field
  • Proven experience as an auditor preferably in the housing finance sector with a focus on concurrent auditing
  • Sound knowledge of accounting principles internal controls and auditing standards
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements applicable to housing finance companies in India
Preferred Qualifications:
  • LLB CA- Inter MBA preferred
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to prepare clear and concise reports
  • Proficient in using audit software data analysis tools and MS Office applications
This role requires strong analytical skills attention to detail and the ability to work independently while managing multiple concurrent audits under tight deadlines.
