Strategic Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Accounting Specialist to join our team at Vontier. As a key member of our global finance organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our controls and compliance programs across multiple business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and deployment of accounting policies and procedures to ensure effective financial governance across the organization.
- Execute on the GVR balance sheet review program to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Manage internal control compliance through monthly monitoring and oversight of locations, including reviews of key account reconciliations.
- Interpret technical accounting guidance and apply to GVR business situations through policy development and deployment.
- Assist in the preparation of reporting packages to comply with corporate financial reporting requirements and statutory regulations.
- Communicate complex financial topics to non-financial managers and business leaders.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls, procedures, and remediation plans.
