Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Payroll Manager to join our team at Capco India - Bengaluru. As a key member of our payroll operations, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end payroll processes and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
About the Role
This is a critical role that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our payroll team to implement efficient processes, reduce costs, and improve accuracy. Your expertise in India payroll process, taxation, and compliance will be invaluable in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll operations, including salary processing, benefits administration, and tax compliance.
- Implement efficient payroll processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work closely with the payroll team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including HR and finance teams.
- Collaborate with external partners, such as vendors and auditors, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
- At least 6-8 years of experience in managing payroll operations for a large organization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
