Job Description:

The Sustainable Fabric Sales Lead will develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company's sustainability goals and drives growth in the sustainable fabric market.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution
  • Create and execute a sales strategy that promotes sustainable fabrics made from recycled plastics, highlighting their environmental benefits.
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities in the fashion, textile, and eco-conscious industries.
  • Drive sales of fabrics made from recycled plastics, focusing on their quality and potential applications.
  • Maintain key accounts and strategic relationships to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Product Expertise & Market Expansion
  • Develop partnerships with suppliers to produce fabrics of various specs, emphasizing sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Promote the use of sustainable fabrics made from recycled plastic materials, educating customers on their benefits and potential applications.
  • Stay updated on market trends and innovations in the sustainable fabric and textile industry, particularly in recycled plastic fabrics.
  • Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to design effective sales collateral and product campaigns.
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Foster strong relationships with key clients, industry influencers, and partners within the sustainable fabric sector.
  • Act as the main point of contact for inquiries, product-related concerns, and after-sales support.
  • Understand and address specific client needs related to sustainable fabric sourcing and production.
  • Sales Reporting & Market Analysis
  • Conduct market analysis and provide insights on sales trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
  • Track and report on sales performance, setting clear targets and ensuring they are met.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance, opportunities, and challenges.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 3 years in sustainable textiles, recycling, or eco-friendly products.
  • Strong understanding of sustainable fabric options, particularly those derived from recycled materials.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, account management, and business development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, and results-focused.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Salesforce or similar).
