Job Description:

About this role: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Production Support Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for solving critical customer/field technical escalations using technical and analytical skills.

  • This includes working with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems.
  • Participating in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about ongoing escalation statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Solve critical customer/field technical escalations using technical and analytical skills.
  • Work with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to update the development team about ongoing escalation statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Build tools and techniques for root cause analysis using data available on platform and by digging deep into code base.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Product management team to identify and implement backlog requirements which could add value to product.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years' experience in technical product support type role. Preferably in escalations team.
  • Experience working as L3 escalation engineer taking care of complex customer issues.
  • Software development experience using Java technologies.
  • Good understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Good understanding and working experience of Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issue.
  • Passion, curiosity, integrity, and outstanding attention to detail while performing tasks. A team player who works well in collaborative environments.
  • Display a high attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
