Database Support Analyst

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to customers and internal users of a product, software, or service.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Investigating problems reported by users, identifying the root cause of the issue, and providing solutions or workarounds to resolve the problem
  • Providing remote assistance, phone support, email communication, or using a ticketing system to track and manage support requests
  • Engaging in effective and empathetic communication with customers or users, listening attentively, asking relevant questions to understand the issue, and providing clear instructions or explanations to help users resolve their problems
  • Collaborating with development or engineering teams to escalate and resolve complex issues, documenting solutions for common problems to build a knowledge repository for future reference
  • Escalating issues that cannot be resolved at the support analyst level to higher-level support or development teams, effectively communicating the problem details and providing any relevant information or logs to aid in the escalation process

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong technical knowledge of the product or service they support
  • Familiarity with the software, hardware, or systems involved and ability to stay updated with the latest features, updates, and known issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to interact with customers or users in a professional and friendly tone
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve business objectives
