Job Opportunity: Channel Sales and Marketing Strategist

The primary goal of this role is to implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for the business, drive channel engagement activities to achieve sales, profit, and market share objectives.

  • Create commercial channel policies for key product lines, including CPC, PDA, and BUSSMANN.
  • Develop strategies to saturate channel partners for ONE EATON, focusing on expanding presence in 100 cities.
  • Drive business growth through commercial channel policy level discounts by comparing with competitors.
  • Implement make-in-India offers and deploy channel finance and collection processes.
  • Establish channel discipline, ensuring no price undercutting and adherence to defined territories.
  • Appoint large channel partners and expand EATON's presence across India.
  • Drive license partner programs, including partial type-tested and MV license initiatives.
  • Grow PQ business through OEMs and supplied electrical channels.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels, quality of sales, service levels, warranty, and out-of-warranty services.
  • Enforce discipline on invoicing, weekly order booking, book-and-bill ratios, and reduce month-end stretches.
  • Monitor and ensure channel workforce contributions to EATON's growth.
  • Develop an electrician program for diffused channel sales of MCBs, DBs, and contactors.
  • Promote digital sales through EATON's website or Amazon/Moglix platforms.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree; Master's degree highly desirable.
  • Minimum 15-20 years of field sales experience in channel distribution across India.
  • Requires product application knowledge for switchgear (ACBs, MCCBs, control products, LV drives, soft starters), switchboards, circuit breaker components, and/or motor control centers.
  • Working knowledge of the electrical industry and expertise in MS Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • All-over India channel distribution required.
Essential Skills
  • Product application knowledge for switchgear (ACBs, MCCBs, control products, LV drives, soft starters), switchboards, circuit breaker components, and/or motor control centers.
  • Solid negotiation skills and market intelligence.
