Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Contract Specialist to support the end-to-end contract lifecycle execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding requirements, identifying pre-qualified vendors, tender preparation, and commercial negotiation in line with RIL standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Pre-Award Management: Assist Category Contract Manager in sourcing critical contracts by selecting and evaluating vendors, planning for assigned items, and preparing contracting plans in compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  2. Support thorough pre-qualification of vendors by specifying sourcing events, conducting technical validation, and developing internal cost estimates as per defined procedures and processes.
  3. Study offers from vendors and prepare comparative statements to aid in vendor selection and optimization of price and other commercial terms.
  4. Participate in commercial negotiation meetings and negotiate and finalize prices as per scope given.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology in Mechanical or related field.
  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is desirable.
  • 1-3 years of experience in construction, operations, maintenance, or similar fields.
