As a skilled Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for machined and fabricated components. This involves analyzing technical drawings and specifications to develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), as well as coordinating with design, procurement, and sales teams for project costing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for machined and fabricated components
  • Analyze technical drawings and specifications to develop BOQs
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize project costs
  • Engage in reverse engineering and estimation for new developments
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement vendor pricing optimization strategies
  • Maintain and update databases for bought-out items
  • Support responses to Requests for Quotation/Proposal (RFQ/RFP) and prepare techno-commercial proposals
Qualifications:
  • Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing/machinery estimation
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred
