Corporate Governance Specialist Trainee

About the Role
The Company Secretary Trainee will support the company secretarial functions, including preparation of board meeting documents, maintenance of statutory registers, and filing of forms with regulatory authorities.
Responsibilities
- Document Preparation
Assist in creating agendas, proposals, and checklists for board meetings, ensuring accuracy and compliance. - Statutory Register Maintenance
Regularly update and maintain statutory registers and records. - Form Filing
Handle the preparation and filing of various forms with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) and applications for Trade Marks, PAN, TAN, and drafting Debenture Agreements. - Regulatory Compliance
File forms and documents with regulatory authorities, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely, under the supervision of Senior Executives/Analysts. - Document and Form Assistance
Assist in drafting and preparing necessary documents and forms for compliance and governance.
Requirements
- Communication Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders. - Interpersonal Skills
Strong interpersonal abilities to collaborate with team members and external parties.
Qualifications
- Completion of Executive Development Program (EDP)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with corporate governance practices.
Personal Attributes
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
