Senior Food Safety Professional Sought

We are recruiting an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) leader to oversee our quality and food safety functions at our state-of-the-art facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of professionals in quality assurance, quality control, and documentation to ensure seamless operations across production, labs, and facilities.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies for internal audits, customer audits, third-party audits, and compliance with regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
  • Ensure the development and approval of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Critical Control Points (CCPs), Predictive Risk Prevention (PRPs), and other relevant processes to drive efficient implementation.
  • Manage certifications such as BRCGS, Organic, Buyer Audits, GMP, HACCP, FSSAI, FDA, Sedex, EcoVadis, and other relevant regulations.
  • Drive supplier audits, vendor compliance, and raw material quality assurance to enhance product reliability and minimize risks.
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, recalls, and Corrective Action Preventive Actions (CAPAs) to maintain a strong food safety culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum 3 years of experience in quality and food safety management, preferably with psyllium, oil seeds, or spices.
  • A thorough understanding of international food safety standards, regulatory frameworks, and industry regulations.
  • Organic handling experience is highly valued, as well as a post-graduate degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership, documentation, and audit-handling skills are essential for success in this role.
