Finance Controller Opportunity

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving financial discipline, compliance, and process excellence across the organization.

The role involves overseeing accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards. This includes partnering with business teams to drive budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, as well as ensuring compliance with Ind-AS, IFRS, and other applicable accounting standards.

Key responsibilities include implementing and maintaining robust internal controls, accounting policies, and processes. The individual must ensure compliance with statutory requirements, coordinate with auditors for smooth audits and reviews, and drive automation and digitization of financial processes to improve efficiency.

Other key responsibilities include monitoring cash flows, working capital, and financial risk management, establishing governance mechanisms for financial discipline across all business verticals, and managing relationships with external stakeholders such as banks, auditors, consultants, and regulators.

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) / CPA or MBA with 1–8 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong background in controllership, accounting, compliance, and reporting.
  • Experience in a fast-paced/startup/EdTech/e-commerce environment preferred.
  • Expertise in financial systems, ERP, and automation tools.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
