Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned leader to drive the adoption of cutting-edge innovations in finance and accounting. As an Assistant Vice President – Practice SME, you will lead complex blueprints with multiple countries/regions in scope.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for financial and accounting processes across various regions.
  • Lead RFX submissions for new clients, providing sound business rationale for improving opportunities as a result of due diligence expertise.
  • Pitch proposed solutions to client executives, highlighting Genpact capabilities and benefits of centralization.
  • As an architect of finance and accounting solutions, lead work through due diligence to implement plans and support transitions.
  • Refine Accounts Payable (AP) process data repository as part of Knowledge Management framework: industry-specific nuances, best practices, case studies creation and release, benchmarking.
  • Manage project engagement, balancing organization profit and long-term client opportunity.
  • Co-ordinate with teams on various project management related activities.
  • Review solutioning projects delivered by Practice/Re-engineering/Operations SMEs.
  • Develop product offerings in line with industry changes – optimum solution offering & digital offerings to support solution design.
  • Work closely with Global counterparts from all regions, to attain standardization & improvement in product offerings.
  • Implement Digital SEP projects.
  • Stay current on IFRS, GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley and other industry-specific policies and regulations.
  • Evaluate team members' performance, identify training requirements.
Requirements:
  • Minimum years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in BPO/SSC environment, with solid experience in people and project management.
