Job Opportunity: Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team in designing and developing plumbing and firefighting systems.

  • Design and develop plumbing and fire fighting systems, including schematic design, development, and construction design, as per architect's layout and client requirements.
  • Prepare detailed drawings for plumbing and fire fighting systems, including waste, soil, rainwater, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Provide calculated notes and specifications.
  • Prepare technical documents and shop drawings for submission and resubmission (plumbing, fire fighting system drawing).
  • Source and select materials for use in the project.
  • Communicate with suppliers to request quotations and technical documents.
  • Compile bill of quantities (BOQ) for firefighting and plumbing systems.
  • Prepare project information, including design specifications, material requirements, equipment needs, estimated costs, and construction timelines.
  • Collaborate with consultants to determine MEP function and spatial requirements.
  • Work closely with Electrical, Mechanical, Architect, and Structure teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Supervise and direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents.
  • Develop project layouts and designs.
  • Prepare scale drawings and technical reports.
  • Collaborate with supervisors in on-site installation and implementation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
