Manufacturing Excellence Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to drive continuous improvement initiatives across our pan-India plants.

  • Implement world-class manufacturing frameworks and devise new support materials based on revised processes.
  • Work with business services departments to identify and manage project risks, objectives, and dependencies.
  • Set up programs, deliver coaching, and run projects across plants to ensure successful delivery and improve efficiency KPIs.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of lean methods to increase efficiency, throughput, and operational excellence.
  • Take ownership of change initiatives from evolution/efficiency identification through to project delivery via internal governance and controls.
  • Benchmarking, problem-solving, and continuous improvement programs in plant teams.
  • Policy deployment within the business through collaboration with Operation.
  • Risk assessments of processes and tasks in the department.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional team members, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and analytical, project, and product management skills. Additional advantageous skill sets include a good honors degree in a relevant engineering discipline, understanding of Six Sigma, Lean, value stream mapping, and ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.

The key responsibilities for this role involve implementing lean methods, taking ownership of change initiatives, benchmarking, and collaborating with Operation to drive continuous improvement initiatives across our pan-India plants.
