About the Position

We are looking for a seasoned Lead Engagement Specialist to lead our inbound sales funnel. This individual will ensure timely, professional engagement with every lead from our marketing-led growth engine and guide them through the early stages of our customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inbound Lead Management: The ideal candidate will triage daily leads within agreed SLAs, ensuring prompt communication and informed decision-making.
  • Cadence Execution: They will manage structured email and LinkedIn campaigns for new leads through the initial conversion effort, aligning efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Lead Nurturing: Our successful candidate will run targeted email/LinkedIn campaigns for leads that showed interest but did not convert initially, maintaining consistent engagement over time.
  • CRM Optimization: By proactively mining Salesforce/HubSpot, they will identify dormant opportunities or stalled leads that can be reignited, enhancing overall pipeline performance.
  • Conversion Ownership: They will consistently move Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Accepted Leads (SALs)/Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs), ensuring seamless hand-offs to Account Executives and maximizing conversion rates.
  • Process Improvement: As part of their duties, the Lead Engagement Specialist will help refine lead scoring models, define Service Level Agreements (SLAs), cadences, and qualification criteria, documenting best practices as the function evolves.
  • Feedback Loop: By serving as a key liaison between Marketing and Sales, they will surface critical insights on lead quality, campaign effectiveness, and buyer objections, driving data-driven decisions.
  • Tooling Workflow Enhancement: The selected candidate will also influence how we utilize various platforms, suggesting improvements to workflows, reporting, and automation.
  • Mentorship Modeling: With a focus on professionalism, responsiveness, and high-quality outreach, they will set an example for junior team members and provide informal guidance as the team grows.
Requirements
  • 2–4+ years of experience in Lead Development/Business Development Representative roles with a proven track record of success in inbound-heavy environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments where processes are evolving.
  • Strong organizational skills, enabling effective triage, prioritization, and response to inbound leads within tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated expertise running cadences across email and LinkedIn, as well as nurturing long-tail leads.
  • Proficiency in key tools: Salesforce (Customer Relationship Management), HubSpot (marketing automation), LinkedIn (prospecting/campaigns), and Microsoft Office (reporting & collaboration).
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), able to engage executives and technical buyers in a consultative manner.
  • Detail-oriented and metrics-driven, comfortable working against weekly/monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): response time, conversion rates, and SQL generation.
  • Bonus: Experience collaborating directly with Marketing and Revenue Operations teams to improve funnel efficiency would be advantageous.
