Service Desk Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Service Desk Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and resolving incidents efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • IT Support: Provide expert support for service desk operations, ensuring timely and effective resolution of user issues.
  • System Administration: Implement and maintain Windows-based systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Infrastructure: Oversee networking infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and data flow.
  • User Support: Deliver remote desktop support to users, ensuring seamless access to necessary resources.
  • Trend Analysis: Analyze incident trends to identify areas for improvement and implement proactive measures.
  • Documentation: Develop and maintain documentation for IT processes and procedures.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in cards and payments domain.
  • Training: Provide training and guidance to users on IT systems and tools.
  • System Performance: Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades and patches.
  • Remote Access: Support hybrid work model by ensuring secure and efficient remote access solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Incident Management Expertise: Possess strong expertise in incident management and service desk operations.
  • Service Now Proficiency: Demonstrate proficiency in Service Now platform for managing IT services.
  • Technical Skills: Have solid experience with Windows systems and networking infrastructure.
  • Remote Desktop Support: Exhibit capability in remote desktop support and troubleshooting.
  • Cards and Payments Domain: Show understanding of cards and payments domain and its IT requirements.
  • Hybrid Work Environment: Display ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
