Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role in managing our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of financial management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to create and manage budgets for different projects or operational areas, monitoring budget performance and variances, and providing insights and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • General Accounting: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities, reconciling financial records and resolving discrepancies promptly.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning, providing insights on financial performance, cost control, and revenue enhancement opportunities.
  • Auditing and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits and reviews, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and other relevant laws.
  • Cash Management: Monitor cash flows and liquidity, optimizing working capital management, implementing strategies to manage accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
  • Relationship Management: Collaborate with banks, financial institutions, and vendors to maintain strong working relationships, engaging with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support for decision-making.
  • Software and Technology: Utilize accounting software and financial management tools to streamline processes and enhance accuracy, staying updated with advancements in financial technology and suggesting relevant improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and taxation, along with proficiency in using accounting software and financial management tools.

The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with proven work experience as a Financial Operations Manager or in a similar financial management role.

You will also need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
