Senior Actuarial Consultant Job Description

We are seeking an analytical professional with experience in financial modeling within life insurance using actuarial software, keen on developing business automation solutions.

This is a unique opportunity to apply automation technology skills to actuarial work and help clients optimize processes using leading-edge software.

Our consulting practice includes over 1,300 practitioners who have expertise across markets, geographies, and disciplines. We develop value propositions in innovative life actuarial software.

The Role

  • Work on actuarial modeling projects using proprietary software for tasks like liability computation, pricing, embedded value, and appraisal value.
  • Implement IFRS17 and asset liability management projects.
  • Develop automated solutions for clients and support process transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop insights and solutions based on analysis.
  • Deliver work within project deadlines and meet client expectations.
  • Document actuarial model changes and summary of results.
Requirements for Success

We seek candidates with the following qualifications:

  • 7-9 years' experience in an actuarial role in the life insurance team or at a consulting/financial services firm.
  • Minimum 2 years building cashflow models or automation engines using actuarial software.
  • Completion of at least 9 actuarial examinations from either the Institute of Actuaries of India or the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, UK.
